Dear T.A. Brown Elementary School Community: 

It is my great honor to be the principal at T.A. Brown Elementary and serve as the leader of this amazing school. My goal is to make T.A Brown the school in where every student wants to learn and every teacher wants to teach. 

During my 21 years path in education I have been an assistant principal for many years in Austin ISD at Govalle Elem., Andrews Elementary, Hart Elementary, and Dobie Middle School. I also had experience as an elementary instructional coach, reading specialist, and bilingual teacher.  

I am committed to a positive school culture and climate through building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. I will work in fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment encouraging family involvement, student and staff leadership opportunities, and open communication with the entire community. I will make sure on meeting the needs of the whole child and ensure that the school is a place of joy where students and staff feel safe and celebrated. 

I am confident that TA Brown Elementary School will continue to thrive and will continue being “The Best School in Town”.

Estimada comunidad de la escuela primaria T.A. Brown: 

Es un gran honor ser el director de T.A. Brown y servir como el líder de esta increíble escuela. Mi meta es hacer de T.A. Brown la escuela en que todo estudiante quiere aprender y todo maestro quiere enseñar. 

Durante mis 21 años en el campo educativo he servido como subdirector en Aisd por varios años en las escuelas Govalle Elementary , Andrews Elementary, Hart Elementary y Dobie Midlle School. Tambien tuve experiencia como un Coach de Instrucción, especialista de lectura y maestro bilingüe. 

Estoy comprometido en crear una cultura y ambiente positivos mediante el construir fuertes relaciones con los estudiantes, el personal, los maestros y los padres. Trabajare en construir un ambiente de inclusividad y que sea  receptivo promoviendo la participación de las familias, las oportunidades de liderazgo para estudiantes y maestros y manteniendo una comunicación abierta con toda la comunidad. Me asegurare de atender todas las necesidades de cada niño y de que la escuela sea un lugar seguro y alegre donde los estudiantes y el personal sean celebrados y valorados. 

Estoy confiado en que la escuela primaria T.A. Brown continuara sobresaliendo y seguirá siendo “La mejor escuela en la ciudad”.
