Hi Bobcat Family!
I am Principal Ortiz-Rodriguez, and I am so humbled to be the leader at Timothy Alvin Brown Elementary. I have spent over 20 years in education, starting my career at Judson ISD as a testing grade teacher before becoming a K-5 curriculum specialist. In 2014, I joined the AISD family as an elementary assistant principal at Campbell Elementary before taking a position as an AISD Administrative Supervisor working with grants in the Office of the Associate Superintendent Elementary Schools.
I enjoy serving in the community with my family. My husband of 34 years and I are proud of our prior military servicem in the US Army, and we value community and service. I enjoy hiking and the beach, but my greatest love is spending time with family and friends.
My Goal for our campus is to meet every scholar where they are and help them grow to become lifelong learners. I'm so proud of the gains we have made so far as a "B" campus. However, our work has just begun. With your support, our scholars will continue to soar. We are One Team. We have One Goal, which is to become Champions!

Soy la directora Ortiz-Rodriguez y me siento muy honrada de ser el líder de la escuela primaria Timothy Alvin Brown. Tengo más de 20 años de experiencia en educación, comenzando con mi carrera en Judson ISD como maestra de grado de prueba antes de convertirme en especialista en currículo K-5to grado. En 2014, me uní a la familia de AISD como subdirectora de la primaria Campbell antes de ocupar el puesto de supervisora administrativa de AISD trabajando con subvenciones en la Oficina del Superintendente Asociado de Escuelas Primarias.
Disfruto servir a la comunidad con mi familia. Mi esposo de 34 años y yo estamos orgullosos de nuestro servicio militar anterior en el Ejército y valoramos la comunidad y el servicio. Disfruto del senderismo y la playa, pero mi mayor amor es pasar tiempo con mi familia y mis amigos.
Mi objetivo para nuestra escuela es elevar a todos los estudiantes empezando donde se encuentren y ayudarlos a crecer para convertirse en aprendices de por vida. Estoy muy orgullosa de los avances que hemos logrado hasta ahora ganando una calificación de "B". Sin embargo, nuestro trabajo acaba de comenzar y con su apoyo, nuestros estudiantes seguirán creciendo. Somos Un Equipo. ¡Tenemos un objetivo, y seremos campeones!
